Registration, Start & Finish are in 'Trig Point Field', Aston Hill, Halton, Aylesbury, HP22 5NQ. The field is opposite Aston Hill Bike Park.
The main route in will be from the A41. Leave the A41 at the B4009 exit towards Wendover. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Tring Hill/B4009. After 0.8 miles Turn left onto Upper Icknield Way/B4009. After 0.6 miles turn left on to Aston Hill. Drive past the entrance to Wendover Woods on your right and Chiltern Forest Golf Club on the left. Further up the hill you will pass Aston Hill Mountain Bike Park on the left and the field will be clearly flagged with Centurion signs on the right hand side.
In the highly unlikely event of the field being waterlogged and not viable for parking on the day then a nearby contingency parking area will be established. In those circumstances, runners would not be able to access their vehicles between loops but would still have use of the drop bag facility, allowing access to supplies at the end of every loop. This scenario will only be necessary in extreme circumstances and will be communicated as far as possible prior to the race, usually 3 or more days out. It has not been necessary to use this contingency in any previous years.
The nearest rail station to the start is Wendover. Timetables can be checked at www.nationalrail.co.uk.
